Miles Arnone

Miles Arnone joined American Capital in September 2002 and currently serves as Managing Director & Head of the American Capital Technology Group. Previously, Mr. Arnone was an Entrepreneur–in–Residence at Charterhouse Group International and President of Boston Digital Corporation, a machine tool builder with approximately $30 million in sales. Mr. Arnone serves on the Boards of a host of technology–oriented companies including: Avalon Laboratories, Axygen, Contour Semiconductor, Electro–Component Assembly Company, eLynx, Futurelogic, Global Conference Partners, HALT Medical, MoxyMedia, Narus, PeopleMedia and Value Plastics. Mr. Arnone holds graduate degrees in management and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from MIT as well.

Scott Jarus

Scott Jarus is a serial entrepreneur who currently serves as the CEO of Cognition Technologies (www.cognition.com), a angel–backed company which has developed an unique meaning–based Semantic technology that has "taught" the computer to understand English. He also serves as the Executive Chairman of Ironclad Performance Wear (www.ironclad.com), a publicly–traded company which designs, manufactures and distributes task–specific technical work gloves and apparel.

Mr. Jarus has twenty–seven years of management experience in the telecommunications industry, beginning with a company that built one of the world's first public packet–data switching networks. He was chief executive of j2 Global Communications (NASDAQ: JCOM), whose signature product, eFax®, served more than 9.5 million customers in more than 1,500 cities in twenty–five countries on five continents. Mr. Jarus' background includes executive management at OnSite Access, RCN Telecom, Multimedia Medical Systems (which he co–founded) and Metromedia Communications.

Mr. Jarus serves on the Board of Directors of FreeConference.com, Ironclad Performance Wear Corp. (ICPW), and Cognition Technologies. He was named E&Y's 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year for Media, Entertainment and Communications. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas.

Warren R. Jason

Warren Jason is a telecommunication entrepreneur who has conceived and implemented highly innovative, successful, pioneering applications in Computer Telephony and interactive voice response systems for over twenty years. He holds a B.A.degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland and an M.A. degree in Psychology from California Graduate Institute. Mr. Jason was the Founder of FreeConference.com, as well as the original network and systems architect, and supervising Web designer of the project. He has held lead systems analysis, programming and data processing positions at the University of Maryland, the Federal Communications Commission, California Federal Savings and Loan, Petersen Publishing Company and The Chancellor's Office of the California State University and College System.

Will Rudat

Will Rudat joined American Capital in February 2002 and was promoted to Associate, Operations Team, in 2003, and then to Vice President in 2007. Mr. Rudat currently works in the Technology Investing Group, and is actively involved with portfolio companies Contour Semiconductor, Moxy Media, Global Conference Partners, and People Media. During his tenure with the Operations Team, Mr. Rudat evaluated and executed investments and operational improvements in support of the restructuring, growth, and exit strategies of more than 15 portfolio companies comprising $500MM of invested capital. Mr. Rudat helped complete the sale of portfolio companies EuroCaribe Packing Company, Logex, and Stravina.

Prior to American Capital, Mr. Rudat held corporate development positions with startup telecommunications companies CityNet Telecommunications and NETtel Communications. He started his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP, working primarily in the Financial Services and Aerospace and Defense industries.

Mr. Rudat holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, where he was a four–year Division I letterman in swimming. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Tim Huelskamp

Tim Huelskamp joined American Capital in January 2008. Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Huelskamp worked with Jefferies Broadview, the technology investment banking division of Jefferies & Company, where he focused on M&A and equity and debt financings. During his tenure, Mr. Huelskamp worked on a variety of merger & acquisition transactions and helped technoloy companies raise capital in the debt & equity markets.

Mr. Huelskamp obtained his BS in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Michael Jones

Michael Jones is CEO of Tsavo Media, a multi–disciplinary content network focused on dynamic content relevance and semantic search. As a serial Internet entrepreneur, Michael has founded and sold numerous businesses, including PBJ Digital, Userplane (sold to AOL) and investing.com He currently sits on several Boards and serves as an advisor to numerous Los Angeles based startups. A recognized industry leader, Michael speaks about social media at various conferences globally. Raised in Lake Oswego, Oregon, he is a graduate of the University of Oregon and currently resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife Jennifer, daughter Oceane, and son Orion.

Jim Goldfarb

Jim Goldfarb is the Managing Partner of Broadstream Capital Partners, a Los Angeles based merchant bank. Since Broadstream opened in 2001, Jim has focused on Broadstream’s capital raising and M&A, completing multiple transactions including the sale of Global Conference Partners to American Capital. Immediately prior to Broadstream, Jim was the Vice President of Corporate Development at MP3.com. At MP3.com, Jim negotiated and structured the company‘s key strategic relationships.

Previously, Jim was a Principal at Knowledge Universe, a private investment firm backed by the Milken family and Larry Ellison focused on providing private equity capital to education and training companies. Jim led transactions ranging from $7 million venture investments to $100 million buyouts. Prior to Knowledge Universe, Jim was an associate at Bain Capital. At Bain, Jim closed successful transactions in the technology, communications, and sporting goods industries. Jim began his career as an analyst at McKinsey & Company, where he participated as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies in the transportation, healthcare, and telecommunications industries.

Jim graduated from Duke University and serves on the board of Global Conference Partners, and Peace Over Violence, a Los Angeles based non–profit. Jim and his wife and daughters live in Los Angeles.
